These are Phu Son red earth agarwood incense sticks, handmade in China from 85% natural agarwood sourced from Phú Sơn in Quảng Nam Province, central Vietnam, with a natural plant-based binder, presented in a solid ebony tube, by HFDlacquerware (禾丰鼎). Known among agarwood connoisseurs as "Fusen," Phú Sơn is a renowned red-earth agarwood region, long valued by collectors for its rich, complex character.
This batch has been aged for more than five years, allowing the aroma to mellow and deepen into a purer, more refined scent than freshly processed agarwood. It contains no synthetic fragrances, dyes, or chemical additives, and each stick burns for about 40 minutes.
The scent is rich, mellow, and deeply grounding, with a complexity that unfolds slowly as it burns. It creates a calm, contemplative atmosphere for meditation, quiet reflection, or simply unwinding at the end of the day. The handcrafted solid ebony tube is engraved with the name of the agarwood and seals in the natural aromatic oils.
