This is a handmade Chinese lacquer tea scoop & spoon set, with a wood core finished in flowing gold lacquer (Liu Jin, 流金), by HFDlacquerware (禾丰鼎). The elongated scoop guides loose leaves into the pot, and the slender spoon makes measuring and serving effortless. Sold as a set, about 6.5" long. Gold powder is mixed into natural raw lacquer (生漆) and dropped freely onto the surface, then left to settle into its own pattern. Delicate flecks of gold shimmer across deep black, so no two sets are alike. A thoughtful gift for anyone building a tea practice.
