These Chinese Rhino Skin Lacquer half-moon earrings pair flowing, layered patterns with a clean, softly curved shape. Each nanmu wood pendant is decorated with natural raw lacquer. For the Yi Series, the colored lacquer groundwork is built up low and left to cure, so the pattern can move freely across the surface. Different colors are then applied layer by layer, allowing the lacquer to cure between coats. Finally, the surface is carefully sanded to reveal the patterns beneath and hand-polished to a high-gloss finish.
